Everything got better when I became a green-haired 2D girl. I do fun and unusual things with video games and pinball.
cohost inspired me to do more. Thank you

My wife @FlannelKat enjoys PC Engine games, and enjoys games that are bad in a particular sort of way that's familiar to bad game enthusiasts. She played and rated over 300 PC Engine games on her stream. The worst games she rated were things like F-1 Pilot, a first-person car racing game on a platform that absolutely cannot support a playable first-person car racing game.
While acknowledging all the ways it's bad, she rated Energy 10/10. Okay, she did play with the quality of life patch.
By virtue of being one of the only people who can tolerate this game and kind of see what it was going for, she became the WR-holding speedrunner of it and played it at Games Done Quick 2021
Oooh one of my favorite videogames!! There's so much to love about Energy.
I finally ended up playing though all of Ashe and I'm sorry to report it's just an entirely serviceable videogame the entire time. I was really hoping for something as rough as Energy but no dice.
