Everything got better when I became a green-haired 2D girl. I do fun and unusual things with video games and pinball.

cohost inspired me to do more. Thank you

I was too anxious before my Galaxy Trucker run last night to properly hype it up -- I'd practiced it, but there is so much randomness in the game that it can easily go off the rails. I was still trying to practice when the run before mine finished quickly and it was suddenly go time.

But the run went great! I was 7 minutes under estimate! Highlights aren't up yet but here's a link to the VOD

Before that, I played in the Zaccaria Pinball showcase, and I don't think I played great pinball at 8am but @Kailaria sure did, including the best game of Farfalla I've ever seen.

5-6 hours from now (schedule), @Kailaria is going to be running the Super Mario World Archipelago Randomizer (as a solo run, not in a multiworld), where you have to gradually unlock Mario's abilities like running, swimming, and climbing by completing exits and finding dragon coins! I hadn't realized this, but she said that she got into it from watching me run it. Now she runs it a lot, she's ready for all kinds of awkward Mario situations that it can create, and she knows some ways to get around the logic of what Mario "should" be able to do with certain ability sets. I'll be doing commentary!

PUWP is maybe my favorite speedrunning marathon to participate in, it starts very soon, and tomorrow I've got two games in it!

Here's the schedule and it may change during the event.

At 8:15 AM, @Kailaria, randomsalience and I are doing a Zaccaria Pinball showcase, playing a tournament of 6 different games, twice each, from our favorite Italian 1970s-1980s pinball manufacturer that has recently been revived in digital form.

You can donate to the incentive to add Farfalla, the pinball table where everything is about rainbows and love and is way too difficult, which might be relatable!

And at midnight after that, I'm doing a speedrun of Galaxy Trucker, the digital adaptation of the board game where you grab random tiles and try to make a spaceship out of them and possibly get destroyed in hilarious ways by the hazards of space. My goal is "Crime%", where I play the campaign mode, but instead of completing the campaign I take a detour to defeat the evil space pirates so I can become an evil space pirate.
