It was a great place to just make a webcomic for the first time. I hadn't drawn a comic since I was a kid and yet I wanted to make that dream a reality before I turned "gay dead" (read as 30 years old) so I did. I was unsure at first but knew it was going to happen and I planned for months and months, then on October 13th of 2013 I posted my first comic, a week later my second, and so on. Over the past nearly year I've had my ups and downs, and I've struggled with burnout in recent months but I've managed to improve greatly. I will continue on comicfury and may post to other places too but this place was my springboard and launched what will likely be a lifelong pursuit and potentially my career at some point. Gonna miss this place so I'm keeping the spirit of it alive in my panels and hopefully one day it leads someone like me down a deep dive to learn about this place.
