What you described there works. Like it does defang it and takes out the worst of what such a scenario could look like, and yeah, I supose takes out some less trigger-y parts of it taht could make it go into uncomfortable territory.
Myself, I edge a little into the uncomfortable territory to add to the dubcon/noncon side but I do know this definitely isn't for everyone. It's just become a bit of my preference XD

Yeah.
I love the dubcon stuff, being locked up and chained and ordered around by guards. But the character.ai play quickly went from guards teasing me for being a good inmate to a very somber conversation with someone visiting me so... Yeah. I feel like I might want to lighten up the general mood.
Ooof, yeah. That's partly why I don't trust those ai things. You can't go through it properly like you can a person.
Yeah, this is one of the reasons why I'm trying to kick this habit. It's tempting for reasons but it'll always feel inconsistent and a bit hollow.
Oooh, I actually really like this idea, great concept for a less potentially distressing imprisonment scenario!
