Okay, bear with me here, this is probably the most American mainstream video game I'm ever going to get. We will return to the JRPGs and indie games shortly...

Day 4 // Music from a console exclusive series // Halo Theme

So let me just open with: I don't play first-person shooters often. This is primarily because I get incredibly motion-sick. It's bad. Hell, for some games (coughOUTERWILDScough) my wife has to send me out of the room when she plays a first-person game because if I even glance at the screen for a few minutes, I get stuck laying sideways on the couch with nausea for about an hour, desperately clutching a ginger tea.

Sometimes this poses a problem when I get really into the game. Frequently heard in my house:
Wife: Are you sure we should keep going with this game today? It's making you sick.
Me: *laying sideways* BUT I AM SO INVESTED

But anyway, my pick here is the Halo Theme. I suffered through the nausea of playing this game purely because I was obsessed with this one track. Who would have thought that I'd be taken in by Gregorian chants smashed together with a string ensemble and cool percussion?! Not me.

Also, I was maybe very competitive and wanted to beat my brother at least once in multiplayer. That never happened. He is too good at FPS games.
