today's adventures in emulation: the Xbox 360 version of Pink Sweets (or more accurately, Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets) runs flawlessly on my computer, apparently??? what a world
anyway this game is Yagawa as fuck and the 360 version includes the 1.01 version that's slightly less twisted than the fucked up arcade version (and by that I mean you can actually make the rank go down)
I should investigate cos I have the mame version but its broken af and errors out pretty consistently, and the game looks interesting enough to me I wanna get a playable version running
I'm using Xenia Canary, and to make the game display properly I had to set "gpu_allow_invalid_fetch_constants=true" in the config file that gets created after starting the emulator once
even if you can get it running perfectly in MAME, the 360 version is probably the best way to play because it has an updated version called Version 1.01, which has some balance tweaks over the arcade versions (included as 1.00) that make it way more reasonable to play (plus an arrange mode, and ofc Muchi Muchi Pork is there too)
