seeing the post-release hours of Ring Racers play out has been a funny event. that tutorial is pretty scuffed even though I understand why they wanted to make one, but it's also been funny watching people get hit with Maximalist Kart Racer Game Design

i feel like watching someone play through it more, once you figure out how a lot of the pieces fit together it's a lot more smooth-flowing than it sounds (and how the tutorial would prolly make it out to be). items do feel mad swingy in terms of how fucked you can get by them though
