person that just had surgery after driving across the country voice: why am i too exhausted to work on my little projects,

#today i’m allowed to shower.. excited to wash away the iodine stains and residual adhesive #our airbnb is a little trailer in the middle of a vinyard and it is very cute but has no wifi and very weak cell service so idk when i’ll be able to upload pictures but it’s very very pretty and the frogs - they scream all night #its also FULL of spiders.. an incredible volume of spiders #and we had to shave poor clover down because it is also Burr City #idk maybe i’ll just go back to sleep… but i want to Make Things while i’m not obligated to spend 40+ hrs a week in a lab….

also frustrated that i’m too tired to be excited over the surgery itself… if i don’t have any complications (i have been blessed thus far🤞) then i will have successfully achieved my wildest dreams re: SRS

#it’s fine it’ll be fine even if i did cause a Comolication it’s nothing major it’s just something that will irritate me for the rest of my life maybe #but that’s a huge privilege to have yknow? to have everything go so well that there’s just a probably-small thing that’s bothersome #anyway i’ll find out at my post op on tuesday
