this whole place is absurd. we’re out in yellowstone today and it’s just…. i’ve seen and admired paintings and assumed that the colors were at least partially artistic choice? like how i never paint white-blue clouds? no. exactly accurate. what the fuck. i’m almost angry about it (my phone camera did not capture the colors but just trust me)
and look at the views from our airbnb too this is so fucked up. i hope someday i can plan a vacation for real instead of cramming things onto the edges of a medical thing
wonderful day for weird geological phenomena (often extremely smelly), clouds and mountains, and large mammals (ciarán took all the bison photos but ah, they sure do get close! clover and i are significantly smaller than bison but significantly larger than most other mammals so that’s my substitute until he sends me his pictures)
