this is from the last third of my favorite famitracker song ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAarIdmpkOc ) where it's deeply layered under the rest of the sound channels. I downloaded the tracker file and rendered this out in isolation, and you can really hear how properly gnarled the DPCM-conversion makes it. Could play it on actual hardware to throw some extra yumy noise into the signal path too, tho i don't have any.
