I think if Linux was a restaurant, you would be able to order a hamburger, but it would only come with the top half of the bun. If you wanted the bottom half, you would have to order it from a different menu, which you would only know exists from eavesdropping on the other customers’ conversations, because if you go up and ask any of them, they’ll just say, “Go back to McDonald’s if you can't figure this out.”
On one hand, can't disagree with it.
On the other hand, Apple's burger would be like "Here's our premium iBurger™ with beef, brie cheese, mozzarella and truffle mayonnaise. Don't like truffle mayonnaise? Tough luck, we don't change the recipe here. Only $299.99".
