So I was trying to adjust the speed on my old sewing machine pedal, but it was not made for easy opening and I had to basically pry it apart and blindly twist some things around- Well, in the process I broke it. Pieces went everywhere, all hope was lost, the internet provided no guidance whatsoever, etc etc.
Hours later I managed to jigsaw it back together and get it working, but uhh the speed goes backwards now???? Foot to the floor is the slowest possible speed, and the lightest touch is now a sprint. Is this what failing upwards feels like?
