This unlocked some buried memories of mine. When I was very young, I would walk up a glass staircase at my brother's psychiatrist office. The building was a time capsule of 1980s office architecture, all glass, woodgrain, and fake plants. His appointments were always in the late afternoon, the sun would shine though the staircase creating prisms of light reflecting in all directions. This art strangely matches my memory of this place, bringing up fuzzy-warm nostalgia. Fantastic art, definitely will check out more of your work!
Thank you, and what a beautiful memory, thanks for sharing. It's so interesting what moments are brains choose to hang on to and the importance of light and color in that process. So much of my childhood is compressed into little prismatic fragments of a moment like that.
