A lot of common dolphins off California, so had to get them in.
This and last year were actually a little dark for them here in SoCal as we've had those Eastern Pacific orcas hanging out in and around Dana Point and small dolphins are tasty snackies for the big dolphins.
Fascinating though.

These guys are safe in an illustration and accompanied by salema, and that's Xenistius californiensis not Sarpa salpa which also are called salema.
What even is common names.

Prints of all 3 sparkly ocean illustrations coming. Just unsure if I want to do some extra special limited editions as well as open ones.

I mean this in the most positive and flattering way possible but this looks like the kind of art that would make a little kid really excited to get on their fancy printed binder-folders for grade school. In fact I had such an object with art on it with a similar vibe when I was a kid

I will take that in the positive and flattering way because I was absolutely thinking about nostalgia when I did this and the other two like this. Nostalgia I have for the Pacific coast, and also Lisa Frank and Lassen folders that were the Must-Haves for back to school in the 90s.
