i do like evil genius, but the jankiness does get wearisome. feels like countless different little things can break, which cascade into more things falling apart that brings you to a broken gameplay state. genuinely don't know how people complain about the sequel seem to forget how buggy things get with agents rolling into inaccessible parts of the map and getting "stuck," super agents ostensibly leaving your island before spontaneously turning back around and causing a bunch of havoc, all the chores of getting traps to work right, all the ways the game decides your base design has inaccessible points because of object placement, thus allowing agents to tunnel into the more vulnerable parts of your base for no reason... like unless those are still problems in the sequel, idk how people just don't run in to this stuff.
