gods the way the fingers of really good piano players just seem to fly over the keys is just... it's so incredible to watch. i feel like i'm watching dragonflies over a lake in the middle of nowhere watching real good piano players. watching those old recordings of thelonious monk just go off on a keyboard, it's really something special
