still baffles me that i can look up estradiol on sites like webmd or whatever and there's no mention of its use for hrt or gender-affirming care or anything. the only mention of its use by trans people i saw came from a comment wondering why there was no mention of this use of the medication anywhere on the website. i can extrapolate the usual terrible reasons why that is the case, but that doesn't make it any less stunning
