i wish i was not allergic to smoke so, so much. the smell of it is everywhere and it makes me cough like hell, i wish it weren't so. the scientists need to get on making a cure for this, along with all my other ailments. perhaps it could be a cute accessory i get to wear? like a nice barrette or something? just throwing that out there.....

I give you my solidarity.
I also get ill if I'm around any sort of tobacco smoke, and it can get quite bad quite fast.
I remember I once got annoyed at a friend who was like "it's time to stop hassling people who smoke, let them do what they want".
If it only affected that one person, and not their entire surroundings, then sure, I'd leave them alone, but sadly it doesn't work that way.

for me it's more the smell of smoke specifically. eating smoked cheeses will make me cough, and i tried to light some incense and felt like i couldn't breathe until the open window cleared the room. i know folks who are also allergic to tobacco smoke, though, and that's no fun either. i offer you my solidarity, too!
