ok comic update! so prob not going to make the summer deadline, and thats ok! between personal stuff and health stuff, my buddy and i agreed to just take it easy for now and just build onto stuff for the world, bc when it comes down to it, id rly like his help with getting details sussed out in how stuff works.
all in all, things arent stopped, theyre just gonna move a lot slower. but i do intend to start making digital sketches of things to show off that are pretty set in stone, so :))))))

ok so, currently making my notes more cohesive, trimming redundant stuff where i can, and just putting them it a better order so theyre not all over the place. but ive managed to make the wild gods more in line with being all of them being carrion eating animals, which rules.

my premise is necromancy isnt evil, it is a tool and a way of life for everyone in the world, and of course some beings are going to use it selfishly and to their own ends. more often than not its used to heal, for cooking, for companionship, and used in the arts. also you dont need just all bones! if you have things youre emotionally attached to, like lets say you have an old busted crt monitor and some metal scraps you found and really want to make a Little Guy, and only a handful of bones; you can still do it!

(depending on ur latent abilities it can be easy, or with a little more elbow grease on ur end with offering some biological samples (like hair, blood, skin etc.) you can make something still!)

although im going to focus more on the cuisine aspect in my comic, i intend to make a bigger story with this world at some point bc its something i keep coming back to and im not letting this rot. (haha hehe rot)

we hashed some stuff out last nite and we came to the conclusion the story we want to do 48 pages on will take way more time than the end of august deadline
(were doing a yeehaw western soulsbourne-esque comic and i am so hyped to make some big ass cryptid monsters)

SO
we have decided to do a smaller 24 page one using my necromancy world for the august deadline, and were gonna build more into yeehaw western for the spring comic submissions!! not just one but TWO COMICS!! TWO OF THEM!!
