Cohost is, and will have been, one of the best websites to ever exist. I'm pretty bummed out that while I signed up right at the start, I was so burnt out by other nightmarish platforms that for such a long time I was never very active. But I was here, and I feel so lucky to have watched such a cool community grow. The lingo, the iconography, the New Garfield. All developing without the chokehold of algorithm. Resilient to garbage, spitting in the face of the grift. A real, unique subculture bubbling with creativity, warmth and gentle comradery.
