Astraea Helbourne

I've been struggling to get a screenshot of this seasonal glam (and to be honest I'm still not entirely happy with this one, but it'll do).

Didn't love the new Manderville step for Gunbreaker, so I found an alternative.

You may have noticed a lot of glam updates recently. The reason? CaitySecret (aka CaityCoopScoops) did a heckin slam dunk of an art piece so powerful that even in the initial sketch phase it broke the glass of the backboard (the backboard being my hemming and hawing over moving a glam I really liked off a job I really don't like). Thus, Sage glam moved to White Mage, new Sage glam was stolen by Astrologian, and so on - and it's all because of this:

This is piece was all Caity. I gave her frankly too much reference material (more on that at a later date, if I ever finish putting it together), including all of Astraea's various glams and some personality notes, etc. Caity came back with an initial sketch that was already perfect. The poses, the vibes, all of it. Again, slam dunk, backboard glass shattered and turned into stardust, uproarious applause from the unharmed and enamored crowd.

The original image is gloriously huge (you may notice the filename of the image above includes the word "Small"), and there is so much detail. I really encourage you to have a good zoom and take it all in, because while I've tried to pick out favorite bits to gush about and point y'all toward, it inevitably turns into me just saying "I love this lookit all of it please."

(Okay, one thing: I am enamored with how Caity drew Astraea's arms. That muscle definition! Aaa!)

Been struggling to get a decent shot of this glam. I love the outfit, but a single angle to show it off has been tricky. This'll do.
