Asks welcome! <3
i took 64 individual frames of text offsets from undertale's original FinalWriter, treated them as a path to make each text object follow, and then used really thorny linear algebra to find a set of individual animation offsets that would add up to the path!
in other words it's basically the old fourier transform trick of "every signal is just a sum of sines" except discretized and made of layers on layers of square waves.
i don't fully understand that, but the effect you created is really impressive!! it genuinely reminds me exactly of the moment in-game, SUPER cool that you managed to pull this off on cohost
/pos
in simpler words: i reimplemented the effect with a lot of individual back and forth wobbles that happen to add up to look exactly like a real sample of the effect
GFIDSJOI THE WORDING OF "BACK AND FORTH WOBBLES" TO DESCRIBE THIS PROCESS MAKES MY BRAIN HAPPY, BVSHHAHA. but yeah yeah, you did a really good job at copying the real thing, op <33
i also just realized that i didn't follow you yet, let me fix that right now
