in reply to @atomicthumbs's post:

When i hold down on the timestamp on my iPhone using the cohost PWA it opens up the link in a little modal popup with a context menu below it that includes an option that says “copy link” fwiw

i'm not an apple user, but on android using it similarly the 3 dot menu dropdown that typically has the "invert colors", "silence post" and "report post" options has an additional "share post" option that opens a menu that includes a button to copy the link

so for me i can get the little modal that has the "copy link" button with a long press, but it sometimes breaks (for a reason i don't know) where it actually navigates to the post and doesn't copy. the kebab menu does have "share post" which opens the system share ui, and is what i use when long press on the timestamp doesn't work

Don't use the timestamp. Instead, click the three buttons to the right of the timestamp, click "share post," then click "copy." You may need to scroll down a little bit to see the "copy" option, the first two rows on the "share" screen are contacts and apps, at least on my phone.

in reply to @atomicthumbs's post:

i usually hold down the timestamp in a post, then if the pwa launched correctly i hit Copy Link, or if the pwa launched incorrectly (it happens) i hold down the timestamp until its stuck to my finger and then navigate to an app of my choice where i drop the link in.

I’m gonna be honest here, i love this feature
