If I share my own post with an additional comment (such as a project update) do I have to retag it for the share to be findable via tag-searching or will the share inherit the tags from the original post?

They do not appear to. Checked a post I shared that I tagged and it didn't show up in the tag feed, either for the time I posted it nor around the time of the original post (in case it got slotted back by it)

you can link another chost as an embed to pull it to the top of the chain and add tags as the op there, which will show up, but tags in replies are prevented from showing up in tag searches on purpose right now.

i saw something about a url you can use to find specific tags by a specific person by using a search path on their subdomain or something, like jama.cohost.org/rc/tagged/tag or something, but i don't remember exactly what it was and i'm not certain it's still working

edit: oh shit i found it and it does work for shares
