used macbook pro: taken impeccable care of its entire life. very few signs of use, minor or no cosmetic damage.
used macbook air: screen completely covered in fingerprints and cracked from thick "anti-EMF" stickers on palm rest. entire computer covered in animal hair. the most disgusting computer you've seen in your life
ime the inside of a used MBP invariably looks like the back of a car that's never been properly cleaned
used macbook (plastic): the top deck is cracked around the clips at the front, the screen is loose in the lid assembly, it's so scratched up you wonder if it got dragged behind a truck, the fan screams (and that's after you repasted it), and by the way you're an idiot because you bought the doodoo garbage model with an Intel X3100 so you can update all the way to uuuuuh Lion instead of 10.14 like the other models
i am talking exclusively about apple silicon Macs. a plastic Mac is gonna be on its 12th owner and dropped 400 times

Given to me after the screen was ripped off in a seizure, then lived and worked in an un-air-conditioned barn (in texas) for 2 years.
edit: to clarify, this was in fact my daily driver (in the pictured condition)
