messed up my computer yesterday & had to spend 2 hours & $100 on customer support before doing a full factory reset that involved a failed backup maybe losing me ~300gb of data. how did this all happen? obviously, something went wrong when I tried to emulate Windows XP to play a fan-translated Evangelion visual novel. massive L for clown behavior. why do I do this shit

I'm not like recapping this whole game but the short synopsis is it was really fun & had some really good moments & also was MEGA gay & let Shinji BECOME A COUPLE with Kaworu but then at the end it all went in the toilet when (again after I had chosen the option to date Kaworu) it made me choose btwn marrying & having a child with either Asuka or Rei. betrayed by Evangelion's Trick once again...

Shokew - Victory Gundam (1993)

Designed By: Junya Ishigaki

It's the shokew! It's the buggy friend! Absolutely adore this one. Last illustration also includes the Rig Shokew! It's also fun seeing the evolution of Ishigaki's art. All of these illustrations are by him just at different times.

Here we have both the Rig Shokews. I don't really like it as much as the base Shokew TBH but, I do like the Imperial Guard version's shield quite a bit. Also finally the last bit of art is the incredible laserdisc cover. While I don't know 100%, I am pretty sure the laserdisc art of the Rig Shokew there is by Hajime Katoki. I know a lot of the laserdisc artwork was his for the mecha, I just don't know if this SPECIFIC one was but, given how cohesive the styles are between the laserdisc covers, pretty sure it's a safe bet it is his art.

IDK what the final art was made for but that one IS for sure Junya Ishigaki's artwork.

Well turns out we have a lot of these bc I wanna share more!

So firstly: The Victory MSV artwork, which, while the base art is Ishigakis, the coloring and decals are Okawara's work. The second is the Beam Rotor variation of the Rig Shokew, which replaces the beam shield with a beam rotor, and has a nice green color scheme, also by Okawara.

Finally we have some early designs of the Shokew by Ishigaki.

And then just to be selfish, sharing a ripped existing shokew model where I edited the texture a bit. I still need to finish it but I was using it for testing how to do decals on a 3D model, as well as using it for testing color schemes if I wanted to paint my model of the shokew lol.
