I'm taking a break today from my usual screenshot LP, because playing Ayanami Raising Project reminded me of the first time I ever became aware of Eva. that's right: playing Neon Genesis Evangelion Dating Sim RPG, aka Eva4 Dating Sim RPG, on newgrounds.com in 5th or 6th grade. if you're not familiar, back in the early 2000s Newgrounds had a lot of shitty parody flash dating sims, including this one made by So Cubed in 2003. even if you haven't played it, you may have seen screencaps of Asuka yelling about school making her IQ decrease or Rei calling you a sick fuck & killing you with a brick. anyway this is how I found out about Evangelion, not actually watching the anime for another 7 years or so. I decided to replay it to see how it measures up to the other Eva sim I've had in my life recently.
