Every. single. server. has "no politics" as a rule. There is no way to tell beforehand what they mean by this, which is great when 95% of your existence is considered political cultural war bullshit.

And, unlike if a wiki or forum was being shitty, there's no way to ignore all the information being mixed with tons of Pepes and whatever else, or the place is just locked down into some weird read only mode that makes you extra question why the fuck it's a discord.

It's so funny there's an entire goddamn industry around INCREASING friction on discord servers. It's "great" having to verify your identity with a phone number and steam account link on a server that has rules that say "no politics"! Absolutely fucking fantastic!
