phone companies are now selling 5.8" models as "compact", i have had tablets that are comparable sizes to modern phones

car companies are claiming a fucking Prius is the smallest size car that can exist

i am losing my fucking mind

WE HAD THESE THINGS. THEY WORKED.

I do not believe a better phone than the Z5 Compact has ever been released. we peaked. in 2015. I could actually reasonably argue that the Z1 Compact was actually the peak, since that was before Google fucked up being able to run apps off SD.
