Dress up like a character from The Matrix.
Approach various tech oligarchs as portentiously as possible.
Tell them that they are, as they suspect, living in a simulation.
Tell them that leftist agitators have gained a foothold in the future and more and more people are demanding that the rationalist goverment be replaced with communism.
Tell them that a key point of debate is how much better communism would have handled the 205X Crises.
Tell them that the rationalists have come up with an irrefutable counterpoint:
A massive network of computers running the first whole-world simulation of a world in which communism is achieved in the 2020s...
...thus proving how catastrophic a communist response to The Crises would have been relative to the rationalist response and scientifically refuting communism once and for all.
Tell them that the simulation is identical to actual history with one difference: you, the Agent of Change, have been injected.
Tell them that your purpose is to inform the greatest men of the generation of this plan and enlist their help.
Remind them that computation isn't free even in the future: there is only one chance to enact communism in the simulation and thus save reality from its clutches.
Wish them luck and be on your way.
