"do you want a solution to your problem or do you just want to yell at people" is a question you always need to ask yourself if you're railing against some social slight against you
"it's a pretty broad task to fix [x], so here's a browser addon that can solve it for you in the meantime and in case it can't be fixed"
"telling me to use a browser addon specifically made to make [x] more accessible is ableist, i care more about yelling at people to change than solving the problem i'm having"
if someone is at that point of being shocked that someone would suggest them a solution that takes half a dozen clicks to install and solve the problem for them forever, they're not engaging in good faith with the problem and aren't really worth discussing it with.
they just want to yell at people, and you can't solve their problem by letting them yell at you.
block and move on.
