I’m getting caught up on the SBG episodes of Book of the New Sun, and can’t help but wonder how much this book was inspiration for parts of Sangfielle. I don’t know whether you’d read any BotNS before making that season, but, for instance, “mining” seems to mean much the same thing in Blackwick as it does in Saltus!
My instinct was "basically not at all," but I wanted to check and so I found my DM with Jack from the first day I started reading Book of the New Sun, and we were already 32 epsiodes into Sangfielle by then, just past the Sapodilla arcs.
