it's Okay as a game to kick the AI around on but it shines as a multiplayer game vs humans. modern update to a classic play-by-email game, loads of evil political machinations to get up to, dizzying crunch that rewards reading the in-game encyclopedia. basically I've treated the three AI matches I've done so far as intelligence-gathering for an incoming game with some pals. the big LP match that RPS did uhhhhh fourTEEN years ago is a good indicator of whether you'll be interested. the other indicator would be having 3-5 friends you don't mind betraying

As someone who did an unhealthy amount of dominions multiplayer this sounds like something I would extremely enjoy with a group of people and also have absolutely no desire to fall down that particular rabbit hole again lmao. Thanks!
