yeah, it's not great. It's also like, hard to regulate that kind of thing? cause if we were holding countries to the bettering of climate we'd be stopping the amazon rainforests from being burned and like, having a lot more international influence on a lot of industrial standards.
The cloud seeding one is particularly interesting because we KNOW what the effect of it is, we've been doing it by accident for years. so now it's a whole question of "is it better or worse" and the real answer pretty much boils down to "it depends where you live"
I don't want to rule out climate engineering, but it's pretty scary how many knock on effects it can have for people and places you'd think are wholely removed from it.
