I dreamed I was watching a new show called A.H. where this guy in a sort of early-industrial-revolution England & modern England mashup explained to fancy club members how elaborate heists were being performed, but no one believed him—they thought he was just here for the snacks
but it turns out, he WAS RIGHT! these heists were indeed being undertaken! just the way he deduced, too!
but also... HE WAS THE THIEF
he’d erase his presence/use disguises/etc to sneak onto heist crews and then steal their targets right out from under them, leaving them empty-handed and scratching their heads
the thieves didn’t have any recourse, being thieves, and if they got caught people just assumed they hid what they stole somewhere along the way before being apprehended (so they couldn’t get out of trouble by saying they didn’t steal anything)
no one was the wiser! no one suspected A.H. ...except a young lady who worked at art galleries, who saw him do his thing and always opted to turn a blind eye (for the time being)...
I would’ve seen more of the show but then the neighbor's alarm woke me up, which was extra rude because I was really interested in the premise 🐭💢
