I took on a request to help Unfinished Men, that is to say Clay Men (golems) who are shunned and considered untrustworthy because they lack some physical or emotional trait that would make them "complete" and reliable workers, to learn to pretend to be finished Clay Men so they can integrate with society above and not hide underground.
One of my options to help was the Studious Clay Woman, who I immediately wanted to help, and then found out she's really excited about the concept of plumbing.
The only hitch is, while trying to come up with a fake backstory for her, she keeps interrupting to make corrections, because she "would hate for your people to get the wrong idea". And while teaching her about the dialects of London, she got excited about how one is similar to older Clay Men language, and instead of just learning the dialects she wants to experiment with it to see if they're mutually intelligible.
