Hi I'm Dana, I mostly just tool around with friends, play RPGs, and listen to podcasts, but I've also been known to make podcasts at SuperIdols! RPG and I've written a couple of short rpgs at my itch page and on twitter.

Yesterday, Puzzmo had the gimmick of puzzle clues that referenced the previous puzzle's answers, which would be a cute gimmick... except I only remembered a couple of them and you can't look at previous puzzles unless you subscribe, so it just kind of pissed me off (and made me roll my eyes when they offered a link to the previous puzzle in the editor's after I'd solved it).

Today, when I go to continue a puzzle I already started last night, it's not letting me do so unless I watch an ad or subscribe.

To be completely honest, I mostly miss the NYT puzzles, which I cancelled my subscription to a while ago because I couldn't support the NYT editorial content, and Puzzmo was a pale replacement. The puzzles aren't bad, but they're usually pretty breezy and it was mostly just the part of least resistance, so if there putting up more resistance to the one thing I use the app for, never mind I guess.

i use Alphacross, which has the benefit of being able to load crossword files from other sources, so is technically very versatile! though honestly i mostly just do the Universal Daily crossword which came preloaded as a default- they've got a similar vibe to the puzzmo crosswords but are generally more challenging (in a good way!)
