I regret that I have spent my brief day in Paris largely browsing the markets, leaving me scarce time to find transport out of Paris. I did sell the wax cylinder from Paris and acquire a few other goods, though realizing the late hour of my perusal I did not stop to consider where we were going next and which goods would be most valuable there before purchasing. I must admit, perhaps I am perhaps unsuited to the pace required of such a journey. I shall endeavour to become accustomed to it, and spend my time more wisely. However, I shall also admit, it is nice to sleep in my home, my love, of Paris, for one comforting night.
