Hi I'm Dana, I mostly just tool around with friends, play RPGs, and listen to podcasts, but I've also been known to make podcasts at SuperIdols! RPG and I've written a couple of short rpgs at my itch page and on twitter.

I've had really bad voice dysphoria, and still do at times but I've gotten a lot better at managing it, and one thing that was a big turning point about how I felt about my voice was when I played an rpg with a friend I'd only talked to on twitter before. After the first session, she said my voice was lovely, and absolutely sounded like a transfem voice.

I was surprised because I hadn't done any kind of voice training, or consciously modulated my voice, and at the time was mostly worried about not sounding like a cis woman but she told me that doesn't matter, the way I talked sounded distinctly like a trans woman, which is beautiful. And that's when I realized that sounding like a trans woman (which I do, definitionally) is way cooler and more fun than trying to sound like a cis woman.
