Have slowly been working through Bad Batch s3 and given how little I’d heard about it from anyone online or Disney itself I figured it was a big flop…and like it’s not Andor but it’s definitely some good Star Wars for big Star Wars fans. Slightly more mature tone for the animated audience that’s been following along the animated stuff, real love letter for Filoni’s series.

its so frustrating because when it's hitting, its among the best - its up there with s4 rebels, s2 rebels finale, s5 clone wars - but when its week-to-week, man, it can be clunky. not as bad as book of boba fett or obi wan kenobi clunky, but like... s2 clone wars clunky?
Yeah most of the weekly fetch quest beats were killing me, never keeps pace with the Tantus plot. But I think if I take it as a fun tour of Filoni shit it’s…fine.
yeah. now that i know they were aiming to wrap it up and not just keep doing Adventourism for indefinite seasons, i can probably extend a little more grace to those episodes
