I run real hot & cold on Grant Morrison, but I really liked this first arc of Doom Patrol. It is heavy handed and I don't love the way it handles trans stuff or mental health or race, but it's not a deal breaker yet. I could totally see that change in the future, but for now I am really liking these characters.
