I do a bunch of podcasts!

Long time fans of these posts may recall me saying I thought this week would be slower on the network because of the holiday. Oh how wrong I was. Oh how wrong I was.

So Nora and I did three podcasts on Saturday. We started with an episode of Export Audio, which you can subscribe to by going to exportaud.io/exportaudio, where we chat about Wii games and the Tremors series. For some stupid reason, we watched Tremors 2 (a good movie) and Tremors 3 (a terrible movie). The episode was a lot of fun!

Then we followed that up with TWO episodes of Poptown Funk, both exclusive for our $5 patrons. We started with Despicable Me 3, which was a real fuckin dud. I think the episode came out really well, but god that movie was just dire. We didn't want to end on such a down note, so we called in our friend Crasspants for an episode about Tekken: The Motion Picture which was profoundly stupid. Huge thanks to Crass for coming through for that. Our next episode will be about Marvel's Eternals, a movie I hate, so everyone look forward to our suffering there.

As far as regularly scheduled programming goes, Stairwells continues it's journey through Twin Peaks! I watched a whole bunch of movies, Niamh watched one, and all told we spent two and a half hours just chatting about all sorts of things. It was a lot of fun. That is available now for our $1 patrons and it will be in the free feed on Tuesday the 29th. As always, if you want to see a full list of movies we talk about on each episode and how we felt about the stairs in them, you can go to exportaud.io/stairwellquality.

On Wednesday, Connor and Niamh did what they always do, and that's talk about Cromartie High School. They definitely didn't get sidetracked talking about pokemon. That episode is out now in the patron feed, and it will be in the the free feed on Wednsday the 30th.

On Thursday, we dropped another episode of Coffee & Comic Books. Rick and I talk about Möebius' classic, The Airtight Garage, and ramble a bunch about his legacy and influence on the visual culture of science fiction. We had a lot of fun. That episode is available exclusively for the $5 patrons. Also I should mention that we figured out our December episodes: the free episode will be about Claudine by Riyoko Ikeda and the patron episode will be about The Winter Men by Brett Lewis and John Paul Leon.

Nora and I also did the pilot for a new podcast! We will be watching through movie franchises that make you say stuff like, "they made FIVE Scorpion King movies?" It's called Pardon My Franchise, and we are kicking it off by watching all of George Romero's Of The Dead movies. In this first episode, we were really taken with Night of the Living Dead. That movie is fantastic, and I'm so scared to ride this train to the end of the line by watching THREE 2000s movies that look bad. That episode is out now in the patreon feed and in the free feed! Going forward, $1 patrons will start getting early access to that show, so if you don't want to deal with a gap week before hearing us talk Dawn of the Dead, you should subscribe now!

In anime land, Connor and Niamh and their guest, Josh finish up their Paranoia Agent season with a question bucket! I have not had a chance to listen to that one yet, but I'm told that "Connor saw a calzone and it really made an impression on him." You can listen to that by going to exportaud.io/ghostdivers!

Before we go, I also wanted to give a shout out to the latest episode of Abnormal Mapping, where they cover Snatcher. I was listening to that while roasting turkey this week and really enjoyed it.
