While I definitely don't want anyone to take this pessimistically: If you are putting any effort into a post on cohost dot org, you should probably save the contents of that post in a text file on your local system (and have file backup systems in operation). You're not going to know today which things you are writing will hold the greatest emotional weight for you thirty years from now, so be your own dutiful biographer and save what you care about today offline.

This is how I lost my earliest song recordings from when I was like 14 and writing music for the first time, I get sad about this several times a year
This is the sort of problem I'd expect a poorly run web forum to end up with, nuking all the links to images as part of some attempt to stop others from embedding them.
Apparently this isn't affecting South America, so it even appears to be entirely region specific.
This is the fate of everything digital.
To hold things for an indefinite period of time just proves too much for corporations. They'd rather burn the library of alexandria every decade than lose some pennies. I'm sure none of that stuff was important.
