here's the spreadsheet I use to pick what music to listen to when I'm putting on an album. it's weighted by how much I like each album, mostly between 1 and 5 times (although there are some box sets that get more granular "listen to just this disc" entries that technically have more than that), and when I want to listen to something, I roll 2d20 and find the entry matching that roll. I will occasionally veto something if it's an album I don't have enough time to get through by the end of the day, I've listened to that album or a lot of music by that artist a lot recently, or I just don't want to listen to something, but for the most part I stick pretty faithfully to what the dice tell me to listen to. it's fun!
