woke up to an hour-old message saying my gp appointment tomorrow morning had to be canceled, but to call back and maybe they could fit me in tomorrow afternoon.
so i waited on the line for 45 minutes only to be told, whoops, my doctor was now booked into september.

though it is interesting how without any further information Phone People invariably call me "ma'am" without a hint of a pause.
it gets especially curious when they're calling to look for... erm... someone else, of a different name, which is never a sign of anything good. π
in that event, they tend to fill in all these mental blanks and make curious assumptions about the person they're talking to. what her relationship might be to the person they're looking for.
i of course do nothing to help them. if i did it would just confuse them more, hahaha
my voice still isn't where i want it to be most of the time, but i guess that's just a me thing at this point.
