there's always this shock when i realize i'm speaking moon language about a topic i have lived my whole life around. i forget sometimes that my experiences, and the imprint they left in my head, are not necessarily the everyday foundational understanding about the fabric of our shared reality that other people walk around with.
like, they were all probably busy having actual lives the last several decades. π doing their own stuff instead of spending all their time thinking about other people's art.
