you are absolutely right and Alfred is forever the GOAT Eggman voice for me, but it's crazy to me just how close he got to capturing the spirit of the character during a comedic fandub reading without any prior knowledge of the game. he even recreates a few lines entirely by accident (the "i'm taking your lives AND the chaos emeralds" cutscene comes to mind)
