I can kind of read it anyway... can sort of interpret it into its intended symbols.
so magenta is splits into red and blue, and yellow splits into red and green.
this is an actual trick that modern font renderers use to get text looking really smooth - subpixel text rendering, as per the hashtags
take a screenshot of this text and blow it up in the image editor of your choice
notice how the edges of each character aren't just blended with intermediate colors; the left edges are reddish while the right edges are bluish
i always noticed that and wondered what the colours were for! very interesting. i guess it's not cheating yet
I feel like you could imitate the chromatic aberration using some kind of CSS Crimes.
