spent yesterday and today binding a fic I wrote into physical book. top activity that is funny to do from the pure concept of it but is actually extremely rewarding to finish & hold the final result in ur hand

#bakuspeech #if u dont mind ur book being somewhat biodegradable u dont even have to worry abt making book cloths n shit #u can just slap paper on that bad boy. u can make ur own covers. and they become actual covers #u can choose a cool pic for the inner covers. u can choose a spine strip thats thematically complimentary #connecting to my roots (two years of book school) by making shitty little books in my off time. and enjoying meself #highly recommend btw. unironically. or do it ironically at first and then get into it unironically

literally nothing makes you feel accomplished like mending clothestuff. I can get a whole comic done and it's like that's awesome that thing exists now that was absolutely not there before. but then I replace my shitty beloved plastic leather bag's broken strap hook with a different, slightly weaker strap hook and suddenly I'm the motherfucker of the earth I'm the decider of this realm's fate nobody can ever fuck with me. you pierce my armor? I fix it again bitch
