Hey y'all the Asheville Blade - the leftist local journalism co-op run by myself and several other awesome trans and nb folks - has had a hard year. Two of our journalists were arrested last xmas for covering the truth about a vicious police crackdown on a houseless camp. This was widely condemned by international press freedom organizations, but the case is still going to trial.
This aftermath of this police persecution has seriously strained our already-tight budget so we've launched a fundraiser to get back on our feet and expand our journalism. Please share this and help any way you can.
